A reader has sent me the following pictures of day laborers in this morning’s rain. Clearly they are not limiting themselves to 17 N Frederick Ave; this is why we need an anti-solicitation ordinance.

This is the front entrance to the sanctuary of Grace Church. Grace has told them they could hang out in their front yard anytime they want. Correction: This is the side entrance on Walker Ave. |

| This is in front of the 7-11 and the Chinese restaurant in the Duvall shopping center between Walker and Maryland Avenues, on MD 355. The police have also been given authority to enforce trespassing laws in this shopping center, which is a block north of the center they had been kicked out of a couple of weeks ago. |
