Shootings, a rape, multiple strong-arm robberies — all in one day. I guess it’s not cold out anymore. From the City’s Crime Summary:
Aggravated Assault
On 03/03/2007 at approximately 12:30 am, officers responded to the 300 block of N. Summit Avenue for a shooting that just occurred. Upon arrival, officers found two males suffering from non-life threatening gun shot wounds. A short time later, a third victim, suffering from non-life threatening injuries was located in the area of Odenhal Avenue/Royal Bonnett Circle. An investigation revealed that the three victims were approached by a black male wearing a gray t-shirt in front of the apartment building. For unknown reasons, the suspect pulled out a revolver hand gun and shot all three victims. The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving on the scene.

Rape
On 03/03/2007 at approximately 3:30 am, a female victim reported that a male acquaintance that she recently met on the internet just raped her.
Suspect: Indian, Male, 5-11, 200 pounds, wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.
Strong Arm Robbery
On Saturday, 03/03/2007 at approximately 10:11 pm, two juveniles were walking in the area of Booth Street and Quince Orchard Road when they were approached by four black males from behind. The four suspects punched and kicked the two victims and stole a black North Face jacket, a pair of Nike Air Jordan shoes, and a paycheck. The suspects were last seen running on Booth Street towards Kentlands Boulevard where they possibly got into a blue 1996 Honda (no further vehicle description). The victims suffered minor injuries.
The description of the suspects are four black males. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and another one had a goatee and was wearing a red silk button up shirt. No further description on the other two suspects.
On 03/03/2007, a man was approached by three suspects in the 700 block of Quince Orchard Boulevard. The suspects punched and kicked the victim and stole his car keys. Suspects fled the scene on foot.
The victim described the suspects as two black males and one white male. The victim could not provide any further physical description of the suspects.
On 03/03/2007 at approximately 12:24 am, two men were approached by four Hispanic males in the 100 block of E. Diamond Avenue. The suspects began punching and kicking the victims. During the assault, the suspects took one of the victim’s jacket, watch, and cell phone. The suspects fled the area on foot.
The victim could not provide any further description of the suspects.
