Significant Events

On 11/07/07, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a MARC passenger train with 35 passengers on board struck a tractor trailer that was stranded on the tracks at the railroad crossing at Metropolitan Grove Road. The driver of the truck was able to get out of the vehicle prior to the collision. One of the passengers on the train was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Railroad traffic was stopped until approximately 5:50 p.m.

On November 5th & 6th the two recent stabbings occurred, which I’ve already reported. However, I see now that I never reported the following incident, which happened before those stabbings. Cross Green Street is in Lakelands.
