P1 Beat:

  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred between Wednesday, 3/19 at 9:30 p.m. and Thursday, 3/20 at 6:15 a.m. on Driscoll Way and Upshire Circle in Gaithersburg. Loose items, such as a laptop bag and coins were stolen.
  • A residential burglary occurred between Friday, 3/21 and Saturday, 3/22 in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg. While moving out, the victim discovered the subject inside his residence. Officers arrested a man of no fixed address at the scene.

P2 Beat:

  • A commercial burglary occurred at Centrocel, 214 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg, on Sunday, 3/23 around 6:45 a.m. Forced entry. Property taken.

R1 Beat:

  • A strong-arm robbery occurred in the rear of the 18300 block of Lost knife Circle on Friday, 3/21 around 8 p.m. The female victim was approached by three suspects who attempted to steal her purse. The three fled on foot after obtaining her purse.

    Suspect 1 & 2: B/M’s 20 to 30 years, 5’9” to 5’11”, 125 to 140 lbs., all black clothing
    Suspect 3: W/M 20 to 30 years, 5’9” to 5’11”, 140, white cap, white or cream-colored shirt

R2 Beat:

  • An armed robbery occurred in the park to the rear of the 9200 block of Weathervane Place in Montgomery Village on Wednesday, 3/19 just after 11:00 p.m. The two victims were approached by a suspect, who displayed a handgun and took their property. The investigation is continuing.

    Suspect: B/M 20-22 years, 6’1”, 180-190 lbs., black nylon jacket, handgun

  • A residential burglary occurred in the 20400 block of Watkins Meadow Drive in Gaithersburg on Friday, 3/21 between noon and 6:00 p.m. Forced entry. Property taken.
  • A theft from vehicle was reported on Gaslight Court in Gaithersburg on Sunday, 3/23 just after midnight. The owner chased off three suspects, but not before they obtained personal property from the premises.

    Suspect: B/M 15-16 years, 5’7”, corn rows, black Northface jacket

    Suspect: B/M 13-14 years, 5’4”, red sweatshirt

S1 Beat:

  • Several thefts from vehicles occurred in or near the parking garage used by Park Avenue in Gaithersburg residents between Saturday, 3/22 and Sunday, 3/23. Each vehicle had a window shattered in order to steal property visible inside.
  • A rape was reported to have occurred on Saturday, 3/22 between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the area of Crestwood Drive in Gaithersburg. The girl stated she was at the apartment with a friend when she was raped. The investigation is continuing.

    Suspect: H/M 19 years, 5’3”, 170 lbs., mustache & beard, lives on Girard Street

S2 Beat:

  • A theft from vehicle occurred when an unknown number of suspects climbed over the fence at The Care of Trees, 8000 Queenair Drive in Gaithersburg, between Thursday, 3/20 at 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 3/21 at 6:00 a.m. and removed tools from a work truck in the lot.
  • A residential burglary of a garage occurred on Tuesday, 3/25 around 4:00 p.m., the resident of Bell Tower Court in Gaithersburg caught a suspect inside his unlocked vehicle in his open garage. The suspect fled before obtaining any property.

Suspect: B/M 20 to 23 years, 6’2”, beard, grey hoodie, baggy black jeans

  • Three thefts from vehicles occurred between Thursday, 3/20 at 8:30 p.m. and Friday, 3/21 at 9:20 a.m. in the Amity Drive area of Gaithersburg. A window was shattered to gain entry. Property was taken.
