P1 Beat:

  • A residential burglary occurred on Blue Ribbon Court in Gaithersburg on Friday, 4/25 around 11:45 p.m. No forced entry, nothing taken.
  • An attempted theft from vehicle occurred at the Rio Sport & Fitness, located at 9811 Washingtonian Boulevard in Gaithersburg, on Friday, 4/25 around 1:30 p.m. A female suspect stole a set of keys from a locker. Once outside, the suspect found the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse. The victim realized her keys were missing and observed the suspect in her car. The suspect fled in a vehicle driven by a male after dropping the purse.

    Suspect: W/F 20 to 24, 5’2” to 5’3”, 150-160, long black hair

P2 Beat:

  • An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 12000 block of Suffolk Terrace in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 4/26 around 3:30 p.m. The resident heard noises coming from the basement and the suspect was scared off before entry was made.
  • An attempted residential burglary occurred on Dalamar Street in Gaithersburg on Sunday, 4/27 at 12:30 a.m. The resident observed the suspect climbing through an open window of his apartment. The victim yelled and the suspect fled immediately.

    Suspect: H/M 5’9” to 5’10”, medium build

R1 Beat:

  • A rape was reported in the 9600 block of Horizon Run Road in Montgomery Village on Thursday, 4/24. The victim was attending a party at this residence. A female resident fell asleep. The defendant, a neighbor, entered the home after the party and sexually assaulted her. The suspect was arrested nearby.
  • A residential apartment burglary occurred in the 9700 Leatherfern Terrace in Gaithersburg sometime between Tuesday, 4/22 and Sunday, 4/27. Forced entry, property taken.
  • A residential apartment burglary occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Tuesday, 4/29 and may involve a known suspect. The victim observed the suspect enter through an unlocked window, but nothing has been taken to date. Investigation is continuing.

R2 Beat:

  • A theft from vehicle from the 18100 block of Tunstall Drive in Montgomery Village resulted in the arrest of one juvenile. On Tuesday, 4/22 around 8:40 p.m., four teenagers were seen attempting to break into a vehicle on Tunstall Drive. The owner chased them over to the area of Lost Knife Circle. The police were notified and two of the suspects were located nearby after a lookout was placed. One juvenile was arrested.
  • A theft from the Public Storage, located at 19900 Goshen Road in Gaithersburg when eleven units were broken into between Tuesday, 4/22 at 6:15 p.m. and Wednesday, 4/23 at 12:30 p.m. The suspect(s) cut through the mechanism that secures the lock (rather than cutting through the lock itself) and at this time it is not known if any property was removed.
  • A commercial burglary occurred at the BP Service Station located at 19304 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Sunday, 4/27 between 4:00 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Forced entry, property taken.

S1 Beat:

  • An armed robbery occurred on Federal Court in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 4/22 just after 10:00 p.m. when the victim was approached at gunpoint by two suspects wearing ski masks. One suspect struck the victim with his weapon several times before taking his wallet and cash. Both suspects fled toward Girard Street.

    Suspect: B/M 18 years, 5’7” to 5’11”, white sweatshirt, black pants, handgun
    Suspect: B/M 14 years, 5’4” to 5’6”, possibly all black clothing

  • Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 300 block of East Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg overnight between Saturday, 4/26 and Sunday, 4/27. Forced entry, property taken.

S2 Beat:

  • An attempted theft from vehicle occurred in the 8200 block of Streamside Place in Gaithersburg on Monday, 4/28. A citizen saw suspicious subjects in the parking lot just before midnight. One suspect broke the window of a van and attempted to steal the GPS unit, but was chased off by the citizen.

    Suspect: H/M 15 to 16, 5’7”, 140-160, long black hair; arrived in a black Toyota with two other males, no further description.
