The reports for the Sam (S1 and S2) beats are missing in the below. This doesn’t mean there wasn’t any crime there; the summary statistics show that S1 had one rape, one aggravated assault, one commercial burglary, two residential burglaries and three larcenies from vehicles. S2 had five larcenies from vehicles and one stolen vehicle. If the detail becomes available later I’ll add it to this post.

P1 Beat:
- A residential burglary occurred on Thursday, 7/24 around 7:35 p.m. in the 300 block of Alderwood Drive in Gaithersburg. No forced entry, nothing taken.
- An armed robbery occurred in the parking lot of the Festival Shopping Center on Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 7/29 around 10:00 p.m. The suspect demanded the victim’s cash and when he refused, the suspect produced a handgun. The victim then complied and took personal property.
Suspect: Black Male 18 to 20 years old, 5’6” to 5’9” tall, 140 to150 lbs., bald. Wearing all black clothing.
P2 Beat:
- A residential burglary occurred Sunday, 7/27 between 9:30 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. on Meem Avenue in Gaithersburg. No forced entry and unknown property was taken.
- A theft from vehicle occurred on Granite Place in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 7/22. Suspects broke the window and removed a GPS unit.
- A theft from vehicle occurred on Booth Street in Gaithersburg over night between Tuesday, 7/22 and Wednesday, 7/23. Suspects broke a window and removed a GPS unit.
R1 Beat:
- A robbery occurred in the lot of 18455 Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Monday, 7/28 just before 11:00 p.m. Two suspects approached the men and one pointed a handgun at their faces demanding their property. Property was taken.
Suspect: B/M, 5’10”, black hoody, white tee shirt, blue jeans
Suspect: B/M, 5’8”, long sleeve, black baggy shirt, white tee shirt around his neck
Suspect: B/M, on a bicycle- The aggravated assault that occurred in the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Sunday, 7/27 was between relatives who live there.
- An attempted burglary occurred in the garage area of Costco, 880 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg between Saturday, 7/26 at 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 7/27 at 7:00 a.m. Attempted forced entry but no entry was made. Nothing taken.
- An armed robbery occurred of a food deliverer at gunpoint near the unit block of Docena Court on Tuesday 7/29 around 10:00 p.m. The address he was given was bogus and the two suspects displayed a handgun to obtain food and cash.

- A garage burglary occurred in the 8100 block of Whirlwind Court in Gaithersburg on Friday, 7/25. No forced entry and property is removed.
- A garage burglary occurred on Crested Iris Court in Montgomery Village between Friday, 7/25 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, 7/26 at 8:00 a.m. No forced entry, property taken.
- A garage burglary occurred in the 10100 block of Gravier Court in Montgomery Village on Saturday, 7/26. No forced entry, property taken.
- A garage burglary occurred in the 20300 block of Butterwick Way in Montgomery Village on Sunday, 7/27. No forced entry, property taken.

S1 Beat:
- The aggravated assault at 360 North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 7/24 was also domestic. The younger of two male relatives was arrested for lunging at the other with a knife. There were no injuries.
- An attempted burglary occurred on Tuesday, 7/22 between 12:40 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. in the 500 block of South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. The resident heard noises at her first floor window and saw the suspect attempting a forced entry. The suspect fled on foot.
Suspect: H/M black tee shirt, black jeans
- A commercial burglary occurred at the Hunan Palace, 9011 Gaither Road, in Rockville on Sunday, 7/27 around 5:45 a.m. Forced entry and property was removed.
- A residential burglary occurred on Friday, 7/25 around 12:00 noon on State Court in Gaithersburg. There was no sign of forced entry and cash was missing from the home.
S2 Beat:
- A vehicle-related theft occurred between Monday, 7/28 and Tuesday, 7/29 in the 7900 block of Queenair Drive in Gaithersburg. The padlock was cut from the rear door of a box truck and two coin safes were removed.
