P1 Beat:
- A residential burglary occurred in the 17100 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg between 9:00 p.m. on Monday, 9/1 and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/2. Forced entry and property was taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 17000 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 9/2 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Forced entry and property was taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 17100 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg on Friday, 9/5 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Forced entry and property was taken.
- An attempted vehicle-related theft occurred in the parking garage in the 9200 block of Corporate Boulevard in Rockville on Monday, 9/1 at 12:00 p.m. The victim returned to her vehicle to find the suspect inside her car. He fled to his vehicle and sped off before taking anything.
Suspect: B/M 20 to 25 years old, 5’10” tall, 170 to 180 lbs., mustache, white shirt, black pants
Vehicle: Newer-model Dodge, white, no front tag- An attempted theft of a vehicle occurred from the parking lot in the 10000 block of Trafalgar Square in Gaithersburg between 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9/4 and 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 9/5. Ignition tampered with but vehicle not removed.
- An attempted theft of a vehicle occurred from the parking lot in the 17000 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg between 11:00 p.m. on Thursday, 9/4 and 10:00 a.m. on Friday, 9/5. Ignition tampered with but vehicle not removed.
- A theft of a vehicle occurred from the parking lot in the 17000 block of Downing Street in Gaithersburg between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, 9/4 and 7:30 a.m. on Friday, 9/5. A blue 1995 Honda Accord is reported missing.
P2 Beat:
- An armed robbery occurred at the Chevron gas station at 12301 Darnestown Road in North Potomac on Saturday, 9/6 around 4:10 p.m. The suspect entered and demanded money. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot towards the Safeway.
Suspect: B/M, 40 to 50 years old, 6’0” to 6’2” tall, 180 to 200 lbs., red/white mesh hat, white shirtR1 Beat:
- A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 9800 block of Lake Shore Drive in Montgomery Village on Wednesday, 9/3 around 12:30 a.m. The suspect approached the victim, struck her and removed her purse. The suspect then fled on foot. All property was recovered nearby.
Suspect: B/M, 22 to 25 years old, 6’2” to 6’3” tall, crew cut, black tee shirt, grey sweatpants- A rape was reported in the 18200 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Friday, 9/5 around 11:15 am. The suspect is known to his victim.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Gallop Hill Road in Montgomery Village on Wednesday, 9/3 between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Forced entry and property was taken.
- A residential burglary occurred in the 18500 block of Boysenberry Drive in Gaithersburg on Monday, 9/8 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry, but property was reported missing.
- An armed robbery in progress was observed by an off-duty MCP officer at North Summit Avenue and North Park Avenue in Gaithersburg on Saturday, 9/6 around 10:20 p.m. The suspect had approached the male victim with a pistol (later found to be a BB gun) and demanded his money. When the victim refused, the suspect struck him with the gun several times over the head. A 29-year-old male from Rockville was quickly apprehended and arrested.
R2 Beat:
- A residential burglary occurred in the 19400 block of Keymar Way in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 9/4 between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Forced entry and property was taken.
- A sexual assault occurred at the Dollar Tree, 19214 Montgomery Village Avenue in Montgomery Village on Sunday, 9/7 around 1:20 p.m. The female victim was at the magazine rack when the suspect brushed his hand up against her backside and winked at her. Several minutes later, he came up to her again and inappropriately touched the victim before fleeing on foot.
Suspect: B/M, 40 to 45 years old, 6’2” tall, 195 lbs., short hair, black t-shirt, black ball cap, blue jeansS1 Beat:
- A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 17600 block of Larchmont Terrace in Gaithersburg on Sunday, 9/7 around 4:30 a.m. The suspect and victim were outside when an argument ensued and the suspect struck the victim several times. The suspect then stole personal property from the victim and went home.
Suspect: H/M 30 to 35 years old, 5’0” tall, black hair- A strong-arm robbery occurred at Cedar Avenue and George Street in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 9/9 around 1:45 a.m. Two suspects approached the adult male victim and assaulted him. The victim was told not to move in both English and Spanish. The victim’s property was stolen.
Suspect: W/M, 28 to 30 years old, 5’7” to 6’0” tall, goatee, blond hair, black long sleeve tshirt
Suspect: B/M, 38 to 40 years old, 5’5” to 6’0” tall, bald head, red long sleeve t-shirt- A theft of a vehicle occurred between 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, 9/7 and 6:28 a.m. on Monday, 9/8 in the 400 block of N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg. A green 1997 Honda Accord was taken.
- A theft of a vehicle occurred between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, 9/5 and 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, 9/6 in the 200 block of E. Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg. A 2001 Toyota 4Runner was taken.
- An attempted theft of a vehicle occurred between 5:20 p.m. on Thursday, 9/4 and 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 9/5 in the 400 block of E. Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg. A 2005 Ford F-150 truck was targeted.

- A residential burglary occurred in the 18000 block of Driftwood Court in Gaithersburg between 10:30 a.m. on Monday, 9/1 and 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/2. Forced entry and property was taken.
