P1 Beat:

• A rape was reported at the Homestead Suites at 2621 Research Boulevard in Rockville on Saturday, 12/20. The female victim knew the 34-year-old male suspect.
• A robbery occurred on Friday, 12/19 around 10:15 p.m. An adult Hispanic female was robbed of her purse in the unit block of Bralan Court in Gaithersburg. She was approached from behind and when she initially refused to give up her purse, she was struck with a concrete paver.

  Suspect: B/M 40 years old, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt

• An attempted commercial burglary occurred on Friday, 12/19 around 3:30 a.m. at the Brighton Beer & Wine located at 225 Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg. Forced entry was attempted but no entry was made, nothing taken.
• A residential burglary occurred on Wednesday, 12/17 in the 400 block of Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg between 3:20 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. There was no sign of forced entry, but property was taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Gold Kettle Drive in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 12/23 between 5:45 p.m. and 6:10 p.m. Forced entry, property taken.

P2 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at The Nurturey Day Care at 112 West Diamond Avenue in Gaithersburg between Monday, 12/22 at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, 12/23 at 6:30 a.m. Forced entry, nothing appeared to have been taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 17700 block of Stoneridge Drive in Gaithersburg on Thursday, 12/18 between :00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Forced entry, property taken.

R1 Beat:

• Two school burglaries occurred overnight between Friday, 12/19 and Saturday, 12/20. The affected schools were South Lake Elementary School at 18201 Contour Road and Montgomery Village Daycare at 9845 Lost Knife Road, both in Montgomery Village. Forced entry, property taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 800 block of Trotters Ridge Lane in Gaithersburg on Monday, 12/22 between 5:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Forced entry, property taken.
• A sexual assault occurred on Saturday, 12/20 around 2:30 a.m., when an adult female entered a car occupied by a female known to the victim and three other men. She was taken to an apartment in the 300 block of North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg where she was sexually assaulted. Two of the male suspects were arrested.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 18900 block of Diary Road in Gaithersburg between Tuesday, 12/16 at 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, 12/17 at 5:30 a.m. A window was broken and a computer and software were taken.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 19000 block of Glendower Road in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, 12/17 at 7:05 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Unknown entry, money, cell phone, toys, games, cash, glasses were among items taken.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 800 block of Gallop Hill Road in Gaithersburg on Sunday, 12/21 between 5:00 a.m. and 4:54 p.m. A window was broken, and nothing was taken.
• A theft form vehicle occurred in the 18900 block of N. Meadow Fence Road in Montgomery Village between Tuesday, 12/23 at 10:00 p.m. and Wednesday, 12/24 at 9:00 a.m. A window was broken but nothing was taken.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 9700 block of Digging Road in Montgomery Village between Tuesday 12/23 at 8:45 p.m. and Wednesday, 12/24 at 10:00 a.m. A window was broken, an apron was taken.

R2 Beat:

• A possible attempted burglary occurred in the 8200 block of Rainbowview Place in Montgomery Village on Tuesday, 12/16 around 10:30 p.m. The resident heard tapping on a rear door and saw the suspect on her back deck. When she screamed, he fled.

  Suspect: described only as a male in a light-colored jacket.

• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Harbor Tree Court in Montgomery Village at an unknown time between Friday, 12/15 and Monday, 12/29. Forced entry, nothing taken.
• Thefts from vehicles occurred between Wednesday,12/17 and Tuesday, 12/23 in the 19400 block of Transhire Road in Montgomery Village, 1100 block of Travis Lane in Gaithersburg, 19200 block of Hericho Drive in Gaithersburg, 20100 block of Hob Hill Way in Montgomery Village, 10100 block of Little Pond Place in Montgomery Village, 20500 block of Strath Haven Drive in Montgomery Village, 10300 block of Watkins Mill Drive in Gaithersburg, and in the 10400 block of Kardwright Court in Montgomery Village. Entry methods included both broken windows and unlocked doors. Property taken included laptops, iPods, wallets, computers, cell phones, makeup, and electronic equipment.

S1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred on Tuesday, 12/16 at approximately 10:00 p.m. when an adult male got off a bus in the 500 block of South Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg. Three unknown males struck the victim several times and took property before fleeing on foot.
  Suspects: described only as black males
• An armed robbery occurred at Girard Street and Federal Way in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 12/23 just after 6:00 p.m. The 15-year-old male victim was robbed of personal property and cash by a male suspect armed with a knife who then fled on foot.

  Suspect: a male between 5’11” and 6’1” tall

• An aggravated assault occurred on Wednesday, 12/17 in the 400 block of North Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg. The male victim and suspect were known to one another. The suspect was armed with a utility knife and there were minor injuries to the victim. The 29-year-old suspect was arrested.
• A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Peony Drive in Gaithersburg between Monday, 12/15 at 4:15 p.m. and Tuesday, 12/16 at 7:45 a.m. Forced entry, nothing taken.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in the 400 block of N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg between Wednesday, 12/17 at 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, 12/18 at 7:48 a.m. Unknown type of entry, computers and software were taken.
• Thefts of vehicle parts from three vehicles occurred in a parking lot in the 9100 block of Gaither Road in Gaithersburg between Thursday, 12/18 at 6:30 p.m. and Friday, 12/19 at 7:30 a.m. Forced entry, catalytic converters taken.
• A theft of vehicle part occurred in a parking lot in the 16000 block of Industrial Drive in Gaithersburg between Friday, 12/19 at 3:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Catalytic converter taken.
• A theft from vehicle occurred in a parking lot in the 15700 block of Shady Grove Road in Gaithersburg between Thursday, 12/18 at 8:30 p.m. and Friday, 12/19 at 1:00 a.m. Vehicle was left unlocked, money, clothing, electronic equipment and gift card taken.

S2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 8100 block of Morning View Drive in Gaithersburg on Wednesday, 12/17 just after 4:00 p.m. and involved individuals known to one another. The suspect here came looking for a female, agitated about the whereabouts of his car. The male suspect threatened the female victim with a handgun and struck her with it before leaving.

  Suspect: 28-year-old black male

• A burglary to a storage shed occurred at a construction site in the 7600 block of Lindbergh Drive in Gaithersburg between Monday, 12/15 at 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 12/16 at 5:30 a.m. Forced entry, property taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 7700 block of Mineral Springs Drive in Gaithersburg on Friday, 12/19 between 8:40 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Forced entry, property taken.
